Taking Hold -- TOP 5 CLUTCHES FOR PARTY SEASON!

The clutch has now turned into a must-have accessory to round out our look and add the glam factor to our outfit. Big blingy clutches soft velvet boxes for parties and functions during day time and precious little clutches in all different sizes during the night .

A clutch is pure love because it lets you carry your phone and money in style . Its important to make sure you buy a clutch which fits your phone, you don’t want to hold a clutch in one hand and a phone in the other, it looks silly hokay. Well well summer season is here and the number of parties during the season are the highest! Be it a reception of a dear friend or a Saturday party night you’ll have numerous occasions to flaunt your trendy clutches ! And hence here are the 5 must have party clutches which according to me every fashionista must own!

I remember seeing this bag at Amazon and instantly falling in love with it! It’s a gold box clutch which has a jewel like flap at the opening. The best part is its so lightweight ! When it comes to studded clutches that too studded on both the sides clutches tend to get heavier but this one from MEX is a steal ! Loved it ! And now this one is a prized possession of mine! A bejeweled clutch is always a good idea and will never go out of fashion, so it’s really worth investing in one that you will use time and time again.

It’s a great size that fits everything you need on a night out!The one ring jeweled clutch looks and feels expensive. I am glad I invested in something so beautiful plus this cultch definitely is a show stopper! ;)

The third best party clutch is a clutch that will take your breath away ! The Apple wala clutch is one of a kind, fashionable and fruity ;) This sweet clutch is medium sized apple shape silver clutch, studded at both sides from MEX. It was love at first sight ! The moment I laid my eyes on this clutch I knew I had to have it in my Party Clutch collection and hey the next day it was being shipped to my address :D

BOX clutches are the raging fashion trend that has caught up with most of the celebs. And this one is the ultimate party clutch! There is something crazy about carrying a box clutch! Do you feel the same?  I am head over heels in love with my box Satya Paul Satin clutch !

Box clutches that are studded and beaded are also quite a rage with the party goers.. This Purple Aiva Box clutch was a buy from Yebhi and ever since I bought it has been among my favorites!

Clutch makers have come up with bolder and bigger clutches and they are quite a show when carried to a party. Bolder materials like velvet and sequins and in brighter colors. This dark blue clutch was a buy from limeroad and its huge, by huge I mean it! It can carry my Asus , my lipstick,lip balm,makeup,tissue papers, wallet, cards and all phones in my family, LOL-SO BIG! I love the embroidery on this and the oval shape which makes it easy for us to carry in my palm.

I recently got Nikon point and shoot camera and I have to say I am finding it so hard to click pictures from it :/ So complex and hence I have shifted to easy clicking of pictures from my ASUSZenfone with which I have had zero problems so far *Happy dance*

School of style : India’s first video magazine !

Its so much more than just a video ! these videos with all kinds of style tips, latest fashion news and videos that most of the Indian population can connect with has had a profound impact and is here to rule !

There are days I want to experiment with my eyeliner and there are days I have wanted to try some very complicated hair braids during summers hairstyles and I watch youtube videos again and again until I master these things!

Youtube undoubtedly the most visited place when a person wants tutorials on trending hairstyles, DIY ideas , makeup tutorials and even saree draping tutorials , but #LakmeSchoolOfStyle brings to us so much more than that ! ‘Lakmé School of Style’ is a first-of-its-kind show that will not only bring the newest trends and happenings from the fashion world, but also created a platform for all fashion and style bloggers a fame and recognition field.  Famous fashion news, views and events from all over the world to the internet screen to Indian viewers under one platform ! I happened to check out a couple videos on 11 things a woman must not do to other woman ( Funny and humorous!) 5 things Sex and city taught us ( Do check it out its awesome ), and 5 shoes a man must own , see so much diversity ! But there were two to three videos which I found very helpful , lemme share them with you !

1. The first video I liked was a tutorial with a tutorial on contouring and highlighting by Sahibba Anand: For me no matter how many times I read magazine slots, beauty blogs , I cannot , I simply cannot get the contouring and highlighting part right! Its not that its complicated, its just that sometimes I end up with wrong products or wrong makeup brushes or sometimes with the wrong tips. Hence videos like this one shot beautifully with the mention of the shade of the make up product and step by step process of applying the perfect bronzer and foundation is a life saver for girls like me.

2. The second video which caught my attention was ‘5 must have bags for women’ by Sanjana Banaik: It’s a simple yet beautiful shot video where Sanjana lists 5 must have bags for women. I love fun posts and this one was a simplistic and chirpy video. I do have this thing that she picked up bags from top most labels, I just wished she had picked up bags from brands that most of the Indian women could connect to. Most of the bags cost way too much <atleast for me> :P (She picked up a Louis Vuitton structured bag, Botega venneta clutch and a Gucci Holdall bag ) #Iwant :/

I am Brave. I survived , I survived a pimple !

 The Long Road…..to a pimple less face.

A few weeks ago, I was reading TOI and couldn’t take the crap happening around the world, Conjoint babies, Modi’s self love suit, Bombings, killings, Gosh some minister losing his teeth. And then I read about Farah Khan coming up with a sequel of HNY *Kill me* , People going haywire over Ghar wapsi, deformed babies , and creepy surveillance of how brands have started injecting veggies and fruits with Pig fat and other animal fat to increase their growth and improve their taste in the name of genetic engineering *pukes*
But I read all of this, and I was like oh dear, that’s nothing! I would endure all of that AND SO MUCH MORE! I would watch HNY sequel,Apply the perfect winged eyeliner, Get Brazilian waxed and so much more only if I were promised that the rest of my life I would be Pimple free !
Not here to discuss skin problems but want to talk about my struggle towards one obscene & annoying problem thing that used to take long walks on my face. (Is it too dramatic to call the surviving through a pimple a struggle?)

I know this is extreme , but hey I’ve got a PIMPLE on my face hokay!

The affect a small tiny & teensy weensy pimple has on me:
I cannot count how many times I've looked in the mirror during a bad pimple breakout and burst into tears literally because I had to go somewhere important and I felt so hideous and embarrassed and spotty and depressed and murderous. Or not wanting to join my friends at a meet out or because I'd rather die than leave the house without makeup. *smh* There have been countless other situations that I've avoided simply because I knew I would feel insecure and uncomfortable with that dime sized pimple that wouldn’t budge to vanish even with time! It may sound vain and I guess it is,  and it's so easy to judge "wow, that's so stupid and dumb..Oh my its no big deal! Just get over it and live your life" but this is our face we're talking about here. The first thing people see when they meet you and the main thing they're looking at while you're having a conversation is your DAMN face ! And imagine an insecure woman having a conversation when you keep staring at her pimple FACE!
What effect a DAMNED pimple can have on you, both emotionally and psychologically.:
I am not the only person who wakes up in the morning and dreads looking at her face in the mirror.
I can totally relate to your frustration with not having flawless skin complexion! I am too always struggling with breakouts time to time!
Bye bye Pimples:
The only thing that helped me get rid of pimples was makeup Face washes ! No really. They kept my face clean and actually reduced the acne and pimples. And recently my sister happened to buy this Facewash and it was I who emptied the whole tube like in two weeks flat *grinning* ,Loved it so much.
Everytime a pimple would pop on my face, those who actually cared about me would suggest I apply neem leaves paste or use some neem based cream, which I would definitely not go for, (Given the lazy perfectionist I am)I am not a fan of neem leaves. Who is? They smell like Dead caterpillar's and stink like taste like Bitter guard (Yes I happened to taste them too, don’t ask how) Hence it always seemed a prob when it came to using raw neem leaves. I did use a few creams which might have given .05% positive results. But neem face washes are love only ! So are Neem leaves based body washes So when I find a neem based facewash I am the first one to grab it and make sure I use it on a daily basis to make sure I clean bolt all those dirty creepy pimples staying on my face without paying any rent *Angry face*

Penning some love for Garnier Neem Face Wash:

Dear Garnier Pure active Real Neem Face wash,

Life before you was anything but posh

Tiny red pimples all around my face

Making me succumb in disgrace

Popping and vanishing without a trace

My face would look all gross and red

It was so horrible I found myself wishing I was dead

It would itch and prickle my soft skin

I would try hard not to pop it with a hairpin

No compacts no creams could cleverly hide

those pimples that covered my face from side to side

But that was until you came along Oh Garneir Real Neem

You clean swept my pimples & made me beam

It was decade since the problem begun

But you solved it & now I am pimple free at twenty one!

Twice a day using you made my skin clean & clear

Now I stare back at myself in the mirror without fear!

You mesmerized me with your mild & pleasant smell

In love with you , I fell

Your goodness of neem extracts & Tea tree oil mad my days sunny

Oh boy at just 75 Rupees, you are definitely value for money!

 
So there you have it, my whole experience where I tried being brave throughout my entire life and how actually survived and got ride of nasty pimples ! Lemme just end it with the last thing that having beautiful skin and no pimples also requires a proper healthy diet because you are what you eat! But aside from that, you can try Garnier Neem face wash!
PS: Please don’t hate me for the sloppy poem :P

W for Women, W for Window Shopping!!!

Do you know that a Poll conducted by GE Money concluded that women spend almost 8 years of their lifespan Window Shopping ! WHOA !
I don’t know about men (neither did I waste time googling if men enjoyed window shopping too because clearly they don’t!) No offence meant.Lol.
Window shopping is just not an inexpensive form of pastime for women , infact many of the women confess taking up window shopping as a hobby ! And I am NOT exaggerating ! I love window shopping more than shopping .Lulz JK. (But I *swear* it is SO MUCH simpler than shopping)
Well who wouldn’t enjoy strolling along shopping lanes and malls without running out of cash.
So yes I am going to list a few pro’s of window shopping !Let me make myself clear I cannot find any cons , hence I am going to list just the pros *wink wink*

I make sure I window shop more and more often and why not it has numerous benefits right?!
