Walking In His Footsteps: #MadeOfGreat !

There comes a time in life when you feel all time low , dejected and find reasons to cry all the time. No? You are lying if you haven’t experienced something such as this feeling of what I call ‘the dead heart’. One might have a good job and a happy family yet find it strangely sad and lonely in the inside. That’s the ‘dead heart stage’ . The heart’s beating but its dead. You can hardly feel anything . And this is the stage where you look up for every little detail of motivation passed into your way. Thanks to my father for he introduced me to that particular person who from head to toe is undeniably #MADEOFGREAT!

For a person to be motivated it is not needed that they meet . Inspiring views and change of heart can be done by many means be it by a book or a movie! So the first person who struck me when Tata Motors wanted us to write about it was him- Shaykh Zulfiqar Ahmed(DB), my mentor, my teacher and my life saver! He was the one who dramatically changed my views and sent me in a different direction on the way to my inspired journey.
Thinking of the past there may have been one or two people or a handful  who changed my life. But he was the one who left a n impact so great that life without meeting him would mean useless. Perhaps it started when I read his book on collection of discourses ‘Potions for the Heart (Dawa e Dil)’ . Shaykh Zulfiqar Ahmad is one of the leading mentors in the present era. He retired from his position as an electrical engineer at the age of forty to devote himself entirely to change lives of people. That’s not all .He regularly travels to more than thirty countries transforming the lives of people all over the world.
On his visit to Bangalore I left no stone unturned to get a glimpse of the great man who had influenced me for years. It was during this time that I met him , though for a very short period of time, it had the life changing effect on me. The moment my eyes saw him  I fell in love with him . Everything about him was breath taking. A saint with serene beauty and the profound reflection of peace in his voice along with his manners and simple bodily movements reflected unspeakable attractions. He was in Bangalore to give a lecture and it was this lecture that had the life altering transformative effect on me. His speech on life and positivity uplifted me in a way that it made a huge difference in how I viewed myself and my own potential. In fact, I felt he was the person who believed in me that I could change and was made for great things, when no one else ever thought of doing so. This had a life changing knock-on effect which set off an astounding chain of events which led to discovering my life purpose and made seek excellence!

I do wish I could get just another chance to meet him. I have read almost all of his books till date and listened to all of his lectures. My parents and my near and dear ones were deeply struck by the positive change in my behavior and attitude after I met him. His teachings instilled in me a sense of determination and vision. Such was his impact on me.
Everyday I thank God that I have known such a wonderful person. Everyday I make it a point to read at least a few pages from his books and they have helped me uplift in my life’s downturns every single time.
I believe a person without someone to look up for motivation when he needs the most is like a ship without a rudder which is left to the mercy of the winds.Thus, it is necessary to remain attached to someone who your heart labels as a person ‘made of great’.

I am happy to have known that Tata Motors chose Lionel Messi as their Brand Ambassador ! Its good to see two of the best brands getting attached. This combination of undeniable talent and a Company whose foundation is made of great :) With Lionel Messi, 4 time winner Argentina captain associating the brand , the youth is definite to follow the footballer’s footsteps, hence its an epic move by Tata motors! The footballer himself believes in breaking all limits and pushing harder to achieve success and that is what Tata Motors thrives for! I hope together they are able to inspire many more!
